We have both part-time and full-time opportunities are available. 
Shifts begin at 3:30pm for all positions with some flexibility for part-time workers.  

 

Starting wage is $16.94/hour.  This is a year-round position.
Benefits include: a comprehensive benefit plan, Montana State PERS retirement plan, overtime eligible, PLUS 9-days holiday pay, 15-days paid vacation, 12-days sick leave and 3 personal days to start.

Our job responsibilities include:

  • Sweeps, mops, and polishes in rooms and halls.
  • Dusts and/or polishes furniture, blinds and equipment.
  • Cleans restrooms and fills dispensers.
  • Vacuums, spot cleans and/or shampoos rugs, carpets, and furniture using commercial vacuum cleaners and shampoo equipment.
  • Reports malfunctions of bathroom fixtures, light fixtures and/or damages to room and hall furnishings to supervisor.
  • Stocks area with appropriate supplies.
  • Locks and unlocks doors as directed.
  • Moves furniture, equipment or fixtures as required.
  • Provides basic repairs at sites.
  • Washes dishes or utensils as required.
  • May shovel and remove snow and ice from designated areas such as sidewalks, entryways and roofs as required.
  • May replace light bulbs.
  • May perform operations and checks of HVAC systems.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

  • Ability to stand on feet for extended periods of time, stoop, bend, lift and carry items.
  • Ability to maintain student confidentiality.
  • Ability to maintain regular and acceptable attendance levels.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; OR,
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in cleaning is preferred but not required because we have a great training program.

Physical Demands:  The good news is that you will definitely get your 10,000 steps in!!!

  • This is a Heavy Duty job, according to the Selected Characteristics of Occupations Defined in the Revised Dictionary of Occupational Titles, U.S. Department of Labor and Industry.    Heavy Duty involves exertion of up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds continuously to move objects.
