Salary: Commensurate with Salary Schedule.  Schedule under negotiation for 2024-2025.  Current salary shown here: 2023-2024 Salary Matrix.  Exempt, benefits-eligible, 187 days + 8 holidays + 4 personal days.  This position is under the Teacher's Retirement System.

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides diagnostic testing for assigned
  • Creates and provides input to Evaluation Team documentation and Individual Education Programs (IEP).
  • Provides direct therapy as designated by
  • Completes and maintains appropriate records, documentation, state and district
  • Communicates and establishes positive relationships with
  • Recognizes and responds to student's personal, educational, and/or social needs.
  • Becomes familiar with teacher expectations of students and facilities desirable individual and group behavior and
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or Federal Projects

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communications Science Disorders: AND,
  • MT Licensure in Speech Language Pathology upon

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communications Science Disorders; AND,
  • Experience working with children in an education setting; identifying and working with students with social, mental health, and psychological problems and conditions that may interfere with learning, socialization, and school attendance.
  • Knowledge of current instructional materials and techniques.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand on feet for extended periods of time, stoop, bend, lift and carry items up to 40 pounds.
